Come and experience the best of wild Scotland on one of our laid back, small group, walking holidays, hiking in one of Europe's most stunning landscapes, the Highlands of Scotland. Our main base is on the Black Isle, actually a peninsular not far from our Highland Capital The City of Inverness. The Black Isle is situated North West of Inverness and just a few minutes drive from the Highland Capital. We provide a weeks walking holiday during which you may find yourself walking through tranquil glens; strolling along quiet sandy beaches; exploring ancient villages and brochs or even hiking up your first Scottish hill. The Black Isle is very central and ideal for reaching all the astonishing variety of landscapes in Northern Scotland. These walking, nature and general interest holidays commence from June to September.
Among the areas we visit are Glen Affric with its Caledonian Pine Forest in the West, the Torridon mountains, the Fannich Hills, the village of Ullapool and further North into Assynt. In the East we stroll along the quiet sandy beaches at Culbin Forest, the rocky coast of the Black Isle and Firths. Also the Cairngorm Mountains and Glens. Just a taste of some of the places we visit. Your accommodation is located on the Black Isle. Our week tours run from Saturday to Saturday - Saturday being the transfer day. Our prices include: 6 Days guided walks & picnic with Carol, over 20 years of guiding experience. Transfers to and from Inverness Railway Station, Bus Station and Inverness Airport if required.
